Happy Wednesday, loves! If you’ve been around for a while you’ll know by now that lipstick is hands down my favourite beauty product. Each time I apply my lipstick I feel a little more confident, and just a little more like me. I’ve always thought that when I’m getting ready – whether it’s for date night, work or just to run errands – until I’ve spritzed my perfume and applied my lipstick I don’t feel ready to take on the day. I talked about how desperately I want to try (and love) red lipstick in this post, but today I’m sharing with you four of my current favourites for this season, and there’s something for everyone.
Clinique Bare Pop This is my favourite lipstick of the moment, I literally cannot stop wearing it!Matt and I were shopping a few weeks ago and I popped into Boots to browse the lipsticks; I had lots of points to spend and just wanted to treat myself. I spotted this shade from afar and was immediately drawn to it; Bare Pop is the most gorgeous warm pink, and it’s only a few shades darker than my natural lip colour making it the perfect ‘your lips but better’ shade. I love the formula; it lasts really well without lip liner, and Matt compliments me on it all the time! It’s not crazy pigmented but it’s great for work and running errands as it’s so wearable, and it doesn’t feel drying on the lips which is a huge bonus, especially as we move in to the colder months of the year. I already have my eye on a few shades from their new Pop Lipsticks release; Shay raved about Cute Pop recently so you know it’s on my radar, because if Shay recommends, I buy!
NARS Bound I wore this lipstick for pretty much every date night Matt and I had last Fall and Winter, and I was so excited to pull it back out now that we’re back in October. I can’t quite describe the texture of this; it applies like a lip gloss but the finish is more like that of a liquid lipstick, without being matte. Although it is described as a ‘soft rose pink’ on the website I feel like the shade deepens a little on application to a perfect mauve-toned dark pink on my fair complexion. This baby stays on through drinking and eating – which really does make it perfect for date night with your love because it lasts through those kisses too! – and it is just so stinking pretty. It’s dark without being too daring, and I am always telling people they need this lip product in their life.
MAC Jubilee My favourite lipstick finish ever is the Lustre from MAC (it’s where my love of Syrup was born, which is my most worn lipstick for almost six years now, I re-purchase it over and over and over!) so when I seen this beautiful nude shade was part of the Lustre collection, I knew I’d love it. Another recent addition to my makeup collection, I’ve worn this so much the past few weeks. Pretty much each day I haven’t been wearing Bare Pop, I’ve been wearing this. This lipstick is a peach toned neutral, like a ‘pumpkin spice for your lips’ vibe (how on brand is that with the season?!) and it’s the most perfect ‘light’ nude shade I’ve ever found. This is a perfect day-to-night shade as I think with a slightly smokey eye it’s perfect for dinner and drinks right after the office.
Bobbi Brown Cali Rose So this lipstick is a little ‘out there’ compared to the other three as it’s way more bright and colorful, but that’s why I love it so much! It’s the best lipstick to wear on those days you feel like you need a little ‘pick me up’ from boring day-to-day life, and I just think it’s the prettiest berry shade. I love to wear this when my makeup is super minimal for an extra little pop of colour, and it’s one that will transition so perfectly into the holiday season. It applies evenly although you need to make sure your lips are moisturised and exfoliated (I use Lush’s pumpkin spice lip scrub every morning and evening to keep my lips super soft!) otherwise you will definitely see different tones of the colour on your lips. I’d love to find a lip liner to match this but I haven’t yet – I thought MAC Soar was going to work perfectly but it’s a teeny bit too dark – if anyone has any ideas please let me know!
Thank you so much for reading; I hope you found a little inspiration for a new lipstick to pick up this Fall if you’re in the market for one. Have you already got any of these lipsticks? Do you give them the love they deserve demand?! What is your favourite lipstick(s) for Fall? I swear nude, mauve and berry tones are just perfect for all skin tones and all seasons, you really can’t go wrong! I still haven’t purchased a red lipstick yet, please let me know if you have any specific ones you’d recommend!
Today’s post is a little short and a lot sweet… I just HAD to share this sweater with you. And I decided it’s so flipping cute that it deserves it’s own post. You may remember a few weeks back I included this Patagonia sweater in a Feelin’ It Friday post as one of my top ‘wishlist items’ for my Autumn wardrobe, but guys… I’ve found something just as pretty, just as cosy and it’s literally £75 CHEAPER!! Seventy. freaking. five.
A cosy, snuggly sweater is a must have for most of us especially during Fall and Winter, and I feel like finding the ‘perfect’ one is so dang hard. I love chic, fashionable jumpers which I wear ALL the time during the colder months, but I really struggle to find a more casual sweater. The main thing I’m usually looking for is that it’s fleece because that makes it super warm, but I still want it to be cute and something I want to wear outside. I always try to buy clothing items that will last for years, and this one sure will! I also really want clothing pieces to be budget friendly if possible, because let’s be real… the less I spend on my A/W wardrobe, the more money I can justify spending on bonfire spice hot chocolates. I’ve got my priorities straight, I swear! HA. I was browsing ASOS one evening whilst ordering Matt a pair of pants, and seen this baby in the New In section. Matt encouraged me to place the order and no joke, from the moment I opened the package I’ve been obsessed with this sweater!! I went for the cream and grey colourway, but there’s a also a two toned grey with hot pink detail sweater which I also love and might pick up through the season too.
This sweater is a steal at £35, although be sure to check for discount codes because there’s always 20% off deals on ASOS. I actually only paid £28 because I searched for a code on Twitter! I know it’s not quite cold enough right now to be wearing this sweater, but you can bet as soon as the temperature dips a tiny bit more it is going to be my go to for those cosy, relaxed days! Although I dressed it down in this post with my favourite black leggings and Nike sneakers (which are no longer available, similar pair linked here), you could easily dress it up with a pair of skinny jeans and riding boots. So you look cute and chic but it feels kinda like you’re walking around in a fuzzy blanket. Literally, what could be better?! Matt thinks my obsession with all things cosy and soft is so funny, but I don’t understand why… maybe it’s a girl thing?
Do you feel like you need this in your life too?! If it’s something you want I’d definitely recommend ordering before it’s out of stock, as I feel like often when things go out of stock on ASOS they’re never seen again! What’s the best fashion dupe you’ve found recently? Please share it with me in the comments below!
Hey, loves! As I mentioned in Friday’s post, I’ve really had one of those weeks. I’ve felt a bit crap, and as a result I’ve been thinking a lot about the ways I try to carve out a little self care time each day, and focus on the things that keep me feeling good even on those terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days. Name that movie. As I mentioned in a recent post I’ve made August an unofficial self-care month for me, and I’d love for you to join in too! Let’s get used to taking a little extra time for ourselves, no matter how busy we are. Today I’m sharing with you the things I try to do most days (or at least several times per week) to practice self care.
Practice yoga (or at least stretch) It’s not realistic to assume we all have a spare hour or even half an hour each day to prioritise yoga, or whichever exercise you prefer. However, ten minutes is something we should all able to achieve – whether it means turning the TV off ten minutes before bed or getting up ten minutes earlier – it feels so good to stretch out your body. My favourite morning stretch routine for when I don’t have much time is this practicefrom Yoga With Adrienne, it always makes me feel refreshed and ready to start the day.
Eat food that’s good for you When you’re eating healthy food your body feels refreshed, and so does your mind. Matt and I eat healthy veggie filled dinners most nights, and we try to eat healthy when possible. We definitely don’t restrict ourselves; if we want to eat something we’ll definitely enjoy it, it’s just about creating a balance. Getting our five a day is so important, and although there’s way less emphasis on it in the media now, I think we could all use a reminder!
Enjoy at least ten minutes of peace and quiet each day Having a little time alone just to be is good for the soul. I’m an introvert, and until Matt and I got together two years ago, I’d have opted to spend time alone than with others any day of the week. Now, of course I’d rather spend every possible second with Matt, but it’s still important to appreciate time alone too. Whether it’s relaxing in a hot bath during the evening or whilst I’m doing my makeup before work, I just enjoy being with only my thoughts for a little while.
Keep the space around you clean, tidy and clutter-free I am the kind of person that needs the space around me to be clean and tidy anyway, but it truly makes you feel so much more calm and relaxed when everything is in order and put away in it’s place. I like to de-clutter Matt and I’s space pretty often, and it’s freeing to not hold on to rubbish you don’t need! Our bedroom is always smelling fresh and looking tidy, and coming home each night to our own little sanctuary is so calming and refreshing. I’m also the same with my car, I can’t bare it being dirty or cluttered inside, I just very rarely clean the outside.
Treat yourself to regular pamper sessions Whether it’s getting your gels refreshed or visiting your favourite salon for a fresh colour and cut, set aside time (and money) to enjoy it. I love days where I’m getting my hair or nails done SO much, it just makes me feel happier. Of course you don’t have to go to salons to treat yourself, because at-home spa and pamper evenings can be just as wonderful. Indulge in a bubble bath and throw a face mask on, and never let yourself feel guilty for doing so. It’s important to unwind and relax, and it’s very true that when you look good, you feel good on the inside too. Matt and I love a pamper night!
Make gratitude lists Feeling grateful is one thing, but writing down what you’re grateful for changes your perspective on everything. It’s so easy to get bogged down with mundane life stuff, but just acknowledging the good things in your life can make you see everything so differently. I’ve wrote three posts this year, logging things I’m grateful for each day – you can catch up here, here and here – and I couldn’t recommend that enough. Whether you’re a blogger looking for a content idea or you just want to list what you’re grateful for privately, it’s amazing to see your blessings right in front of you. I keep a list in the Notes app in my phone, and man does it help me to keep positive.
Live in the moment I admit that I am SO bad for not enjoying the day/hour/second right there and then, because I’m thinking about what’s coming up. Whether I’m stressing about something happening or I’m super excited for something fun, I find I’m always counting down to the Next Thing. I’m actively trying to enjoy where I’m at in the moment, and it’s making life so much more fun! …but it’s okay to have things to look forward to. Matt and I always have a trip planned, whether it’s a holiday or a weekend getaway, because we love travelling SO much and that’s where we want to put our energy. We just love getting away and exploring somewhere new! Similarly, date nights keep us sane and get us through long work weeks, and we always plan those in advance. Get plans in your diary to catch up with your friends too, they may need it more than you do!
Be active, and enjoy nature while you’re at it Matt and I are SO LUCKY to live where we do; there’s beautiful beaches, rolling countryside and our favourite city, Newcastle upon Tyne, all just twenty minutes drive from us. We are always trying to get outside more and enjoy whatever is around us, and we’re also very lucky that we experience all four seasons here too! Well, Summer is questionable LOL.
Unwind in a way that makes you happy Getting cosy under a fluffy blanket with our favourite candles flickering, snuggling up with Matt to watch Netflix is without a doubt my favourite pastime. We do this in some aspect every evening, even if it’s only to watch one quick episode of our favourite show (Brooklyn 99 is life, you guys!) and it feels so good to relax at home. Being curled up with Matt makes me so happy, and it’s something I look forward to from the minute we get out of bed each morning! I also love to blog, binge watch reality shows (The *original* Hills and KUTWK are always my go-to shows), online shop/browse, cook, catch up on my YouTube subscriptions, read books, take bubble baths… whatever it is for you; do more of it.
Don’t beat yourself up The best self care tip of all is to not be too hard on yourself, because everyone is doing the best they can. You don’t need to compare yourself to others, or what you think you should have/want in life. Being happy within yourself is so important, and nurturing your close relationships is super important too. Matt and I are very good at giving each other pep talks and cheering each other up if we ever have a bad day, and that support network is so vital!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you found this post helpful, and maybe feel inspired to take a little more time for yourself. How do you take time for self care each day? What’s one thing that always makes you feel good? Except for cuddling with Matt, one other thing specifically comes to mind for me. Blogging. It always makes me feel good and is there for me like a safety net; I love to write SO MUCH, and I had no idea how much joy blogging would bring to my life! Matt encouraged me to start and has (literally) held my hand every step of the way so far; I’m so grateful for him and that he pushed me to do it; it’s a dream come true to run my own blog. Thank you so much to everyone who takes time to read, comment, like, share etc – it means the world to me, and I really feel so lucky to have such a great bunch of people around me.
Happy Friday, loves! Can you believe we’re heading into the second week of August? Where the heck is this year going? Matt left for work at 6.30am (boo) so I’m finishing up writing and editing this post laying in bed with a cup of Swiss Miss, candle burning, listening to the pouring rain and Friends playing in the background… what a relaxing way to start a Friday 🙂
What I’m loving: This is a little sneak peek as in a week or two I have a post going up featuring several new beauty bits I’ve picked up recently, but I just HAVE to share this with you now! I ordered the Pillowtalk palette from Charlotte Tilbury when it finally came back in stock and I’ve never loved an eyeshadow palette so much, it’s a dream! The packaging is beautiful, just like everything from Charlotte Tilbury, and the colours are amazing – it’s literally my perfect palette. The shades are light and subtle but with lots of colour pay off, and you can create easy day or night looks. Now I have the palette, lipstick and lip liner from the Pillowtalk collection, I’m just missing the blush!
Where I’ve been: I’m sorry there was no new post on Wednesday, I took the week off blogging because I was just feeling a little overwhelmed and anxious. I was pretty annoyed at myself because I had a post ready to go, I just needed to do a final edit and take photos but I didn’t feel up to it. I’ve been a little off the past couple of weeks and it unfortunately caught up with me. I took the week to spend more time with Matt, do more yoga, focus on work, plan new content and just relax, which made me feel so much better! I really hate taking time off from blogging because I feel like I’m letting not just myself down but also my readers, but now I’m back and so excited for upcoming content 🙂
What I’m wearing: I LOVE midi skirts and I can’t get enough! I wore this leopard print wrap midi on Saturday night when we went out for my brother’s birthday (you can just see it in my feature photo) and I wore this one at the weekend with a t-shirt. I love to wear midi skirts dressed up with a cami and heels or dressed down with a t-shirt and trainers, and I’m definitely going to be wearing them with thin knits or jumpers and boots when Autumn rolls around! They’re really so versatile and I’m always looking for more to add to my collection, so please link me any that you love right now?
What I’ve been up to this week: I’ve had a really good week despite feeling pretty rubbish at the beginning. I wrote a little for my blog on Wednesday and Thursday evening before Matt got home from work, and enjoyed it so much. Matt took me for date night at Banyan in Newcastle on Tuesday night; it’s restaurant week and we hadn’t planned anything because I wasn’t feeling like myself, but he surprised me and booked it. He’s seriously the best, I love him so much! Look how cute he is in that photo above!! We’ve also watched tons of TV because our new TV is the best thing ever. We were snuggled in bed the other night watching a Stacey Dooley documentary (I just love her) and I literally said to Matt “don’t you think having a TV again has made our lives so much better?!” hahahaha.
What I’m up to this weekend: We’re having a nice relaxing weekend and I couldn’t be more excited to chill the heck out. Tonight I’m making a fun dinner – more on that below! – and we’re snuggling in bed watching TV all night long. I’m obsessed guys. Matt is working an early shift tomorrow so we’ll be up at 6am (well, he will be. I get to stay cosy in bed)! While he’s at work I’m hoping to catch up on my YouTube subscription box and get lots of work done on the blog. We really want to spend our afternoon at the beach but we’re on weather warning for torrential rain so we may need to take a rain check on that one. Rain check. Get it? We’re spending our evening with Matt’s parents, I love these kind of chilled weekends so much! On Sunday we’re up early to squeeze in a breakfast date as our plans to go for breakfast last week spectacularly failed. Sunday is also our first game of the season (we’re big NUFC fans, despite all of the problems going on at the club right now) so Matt is heading into town to watch the match with his friends, then I’m picking him up after. I’m hoping to spend the few hours he’s out finishing up blog stuff for the week, clearing out my beauty drawers (my wardrobes look SO GOOD) and baking banana bread for us to enjoy that evening!
What I’m planning: Our trip at the end of the month! I am so excited to get away for a few days to explore Stamford, spend time with Matt’s family and just relax. Matt and I love exploring new places and finding hidden gems but if you have any recommendations of places we must visit or the best shops/restaurants please let me know! I’m going to be writing a packing post for our weekend away, as I haven’t done one of those for so long and I know those posts are loved. (That’s not me being big headed, those are some of the posts that are searched for and re-read the most… I get to see all the stats!) Those are some of my favourite posts from other bloggers too, and I really enjoy writing them so I’m really excited.
What I’m obsessed with: Sheet masks, specifically these ones from The Body Shop! The seaweed mask is my go-to, and Matt really enjoys the Aloe option. I really want to do a whole post about how good their face mask range is and my top picks, as I feel like I always talk about them but never in much detail. I was feeling super crappy on Monday evening so Matt and I had a mini pamper night, and it made me feel SO much better! I’ve just picked up some of their Vitamin C masks and I’m so excited to use them more before giving my verdict. I really want to make a post soon about a few Vitamin C products I’ve introduced into my skincare routine that are making my skin look the best it has in a LONG time!
What I’m working out to: Confession time: I’ve totally failed with this week’s Couch To 5k runs, I’ve only done one! But again, I was having one of those weeks so I’m not beating myself up about it because honestly, who cares? I have however done A LOT of yoga – I’ve practiced at least once per day over the past week and it’s felt SO good. I find it totally clears my mind, allows me to focus on the ‘right now’ and leaves me feeling so relaxed and content. When I feel particularly anxious I really enjoy doing yoga a little bit more because it helps so much!
What I’m excited about: Tonight’s dinner receipe. I swear I am 25 going on 85. Matt has a little work to do so I said I’d make dinner for us, and I’m finally making this BLT pasta! Shay made it on The Today Show a while back and when I watched that I knew I wanted to make it too, then literally forgot. all. about. it. Does that happen to anyone else? We love to make new recipes but we also love our tried and tested favourites… it’s a hard balance! I’m so excited to see how it tastes, I’m also pairing it with garlic bread and I’m sure it’s going to be AMAZING!
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you had a wonderful week and have an even better weekend with your loved ones. What have you been up to this past week? I’m so excited to relax a lot with Matt, do a little more decluttering and write more blog posts! I’ve gone a little crazy and planned my content until mid-September, I really am so excited to share so many fun things with you. Also, I SO BADLY wanted to share with you a Patagonia sweater I can barely wait to buy for the Autumn and Winter months, but I feel like I can’t stop talking about Autumn and it’s a little too early… I might share it with you next week, I am SO excited to get it!
Hi, loves! I’m back with another #feelinitfriday and it feels so good to just sit down and write about my week. I didn’t post last week because Matt’s parents came home from their holiday last Thursday and we spent our whole evening catching up with them, we missed them so much and are so happy they’re back! After missing out on a week’s worth of chatting with you all, I have SO MUCH to say hahaha. I’m so thankful it’s Friday and I’m very excited for this weekend, Matt is finally off work (YAY!) and we have a great weekend planned. Today’s post is a long one, so grab your morning cuppa and settle in…
What I’m happy about: Well we’ve had a great week so I’m generally happy, but I’m so very happy to have pretty gels again! I treated myself to a little trip to the salon after work last night and I’m so happy to have my gels back. I know it probably sounds a little crazy to some but it just makes me feel good about myself, it’s such a fun self care treat now and then. I chose lilac with silver glitter, because isn’t that just the prettiest combo for Summer?
What I’m proud of: I’m so freaking proud of my boyfriend! I know I talk about him A LOT on the blog – he’s my better half, sorry not sorry – but I just really need to sing his praises right now. Last week he was given the opportunity to manage two stores (he already managed one) and he is so deserving of success! He works so dang hard every single day and doesn’t even realise how amazing he is. I’m so excited to treat him and celebrate in a few weeks; we’re trying to get a date in the diary to go up to Edinburgh for the day and I can’t wait! He deserves the world, I just love him so much 🙂
What I’m watching: Matt and I are now on season five of Brooklyn 99 (which we’re SO sad about, we never want it to end!) so we’re trying to watch it a little more sparingly at the moment. We watched Katherine Ryan’s new Netflix show this week and we about died laughing, she is just so hilarious! We enjoyed her original Netflix stand up so much and thought it would be hard to beat but she did it. Last night we snuggled in to watch Stacey Dooley’s new documentary (any regular readers will know how much I love her) which was amazing, I’m so excited she’s back with new episodes!
What I’m excited about: Speaking of watching TV… we now have a TV to watch our shows again! Our old TV stopped working so we’ve been watching Netflix, Sky etc on my MacBook for the longest time, which worked fine and we had honestly got used to it. Then yesterday my mum and dad bought us a TV! We’re so grateful to them, they’re seriously so good to us. Doesn’t it look so cute with the little Diptyque candle? I never burn my fancy candles because they are the prettiest decor pieces! It’s only a small TV because it has to fit in the teeny space in the built-in wardrobes (that I designed when I was 14 and didn’t really know what I would want in the future haha) but it’s such good quality and it was SO nice to snuggle up in bed watching TV, instead of the laptop last night. We also will be able to take this TV when buy our house to use in our kitchen/spare room or something, so it’s super exciting to think about that for next year.
What I’m buying: Autumn candles!!! I placed an order for my FAVOURITE Autumn candle (Leaves by Bath & Body Works) on Wednesday and I literally can’t wait for it to get here, I hope it arrives today! I probably buy at least five every year because Matt and I love the scent so much, it’s literally Autumn in a jar and it just makes me happy. I’ll be burning it the second it arrives in the post, and probably ordering a ton more. I’m really waiting for TK Maxx and Yankee Candle to launch their Autumn ranges for this year to pick up some more because the rainy, cold weather has truly got me in the Autumn spirit.
What I’m celebrating: My (not so) little brother turned 21 this week! He may now legally be able to drink in the US but he’s always going to seem 12 to me, hahaha. We celebrated on his birthday, and we’re all going for a family meal this weekend in Morpeth; we had to fix a date that worked with Matt’s shifts and because he’s off all weekend it worked out perfectly. I can’t wait to eat Italian food and drink lots of gin with my favourite people!
What I’m eating: This is super random but I’m kinda obsessed with these hummus chips, they’re so yummy!! They’re filling and tasty, and I’ve eaten SO many packets in the past few weeks without getting bored. I’ve only seen the smaller bags in the Co-Op (my favourite shop) but you can also buy huge bags at any supermarket. Of course Matt and I have been making delicious dinners each evening as always. We always sit down to eat dinner together no matter what time it is; Matt works until 9pm at least twice per week and I make dinner for him coming through the door. We really loved the steak stir fry I made on Sunday, it’s so freaking easy and I whipped it up in less than ten minutes whilst Matt was finishing up a little work. I picked up this stir fry pack and it was so good, we’ll definitely buy it again! Also, a little trick to make your stir fry taste better; use sesame oil. We get this one but I’m sure they all taste the same!
What I’ve been up to this week: Matt and I have both been working every day as per usual, and we’ve been super busy during our evenings too. On Tuesday we celebrated Robert’s birthday so we relaxed and enjoyed being with family, but we’ve just been 100 miles per hour every other day, as always. I’ve also been spending a lot of time doing things for my blog, decluttering the heck out of the wardrobes (a LONG post will be coming on that soon!) and running errands, it’s just felt so busy. Matt and I have savoured every second of quiet time together, and we can’t wait to relax a little this weekend.
What I’m up to this weekend: Speaking of which… we have such a fun weekend planned I can barely stand it! Tonight we’re finally going to watch The Lion King (and, you know, get popcorn and Tango ice blasts because that’s what date nights at the movies are all about. It’s tradition guys!) Tomorrow we’re sleeping in then going fruit picking at a local farm and exploring the nearby town, then we’ll be heading back to freshen up because we’re going out for my brother’s birthday meal. Sunday is a little up in the air right now but we know we’re going for breakfast at the beach – our favourite Sunday morning tradition – and then Matt may be playing golf in the afternoon. If he is I’ll work on my blog, we’re going for a run, then we so badly want a cosy evening in the house eating Indian food and watching Netflix! I’m thinking about recording another Weekend In My Life for this weekend because it’s been a while since my last one, please let me know what you think?!
What I’m reading: Okay I just started a new book, but this week I finished reading After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid and oh my gosh I was a MESS through the whole thing! I literally cried through the first thirty pages, then throughout the book I kept tearing up (and sometimes full on sobbing) because the story was written so amazingly well. I said back in May that Forever, Interrupted was the best book I’ve ever read, and this one is up there too! I highly recommend picking this up – it was so raw and honest and heartbreaking, but also filled with hope and love and joy. I said the same after reading Forever, Interrupted but it totally made me appreciate what Matt and I have even more, we’re so lucky to have found each other and I never want to take that for granted, even for a second!
What I’m listening to: Of course I’m listening to Shagged, Married, Annoyed because I’m forever obsessed with Rosie and Chris Ramsey. No joke. I have also been listening to another podcast that I’ve just discovered (I feel like I’m cheating on SMA…) called Outspoken Beauty. If you’re into beauty blogs and vlogs this is the podcast for you; it’s like having a conversation with a friend and I’ve already laughed and learned so much! I’m just waiting for the day Shay makes a podcast because I just aspire to be her… pretty please?
What else is new: I very briefly mentioned this in Wednesday’s post and a little bit in this one, but I’ve started doing the Couch To 5k! I was NOT planning to start, and it was so random – Matt thought I’d had an out of body experience I’m sure, hahaha. I was super inspired after watching Jade’s vlog, downloaded the app and just went out running! I’ve done two runs now, so I’ve almost completed my first week and I’m actually excited about starting the new week. I really found my first two runs challenging because I am not a runner, but I’m so excited to see how I get on with it. I don’t talk about this often on my blog but I have arthritis which affects my knees and hips the most, so I’m not sure how this will work out. I’m not putting any pressure on myself, I just want to enjoy it for as long as I can and see what happens!
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you all have the most wonderful weekends and please let me know if you’d like me to record a Weekend In My Life? Now Matt’s still snoozing in bed (he’s off work today) and I’m heading to work, but there’s eight little hours between me and the weekend… let’s do this! Also, I decided to end today’s post with three of my favourite posts of the week, please go check them out and leave the girls lovely comments 🙂 What Up Wednesday-ish – Savannah is back!! She took a few days off for holiday (and was unfortunately poorly) but she is BACK. She’s my all time favourite blogger and I genuinely feel like I know her, her posts are always my go-to… please go send her all of the love and good wishes to be better! July’s Feelings & Favourites – Chloe writes so beautifully, all of her posts are from the heart and I’m so excited she’s writing more about her personal life, those kind of posts always grab my attention more! Summer Glow Getters – Gemma takes THE most beautiful photos in every post and this is no exception, all of these products are dreamy and I’ve added a few to my shopping list, she’s so informative about the products in this post.
Hi, loves! I’m a creature of habit when it comes to pretty much every aspect of my life – I love routine, I love plans and I love using tried and tested great products. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy trying new products and finding new things I like, but as I’ve got a little older I have less of a want to buy, buy, buy without lots of research and consideration. When I was 19 I bought my very own Soleil Tan de Chanel after seeing SO many beauty bloggers and vloggers rave about it, and I’ve never disliked a makeup product more. Now, there’s nothing wrong with the product, I just didn’t and still don’t have the skills to apply a cream bronzer to look good on my face, and it was also way too dark for my skin tone. This should have been a valuable lesson (literally) as it cost around £40.00, which was a lot of money to me back then in my first ‘real’ job where I made barely nothing. I mean, it’s still a lot of money now and I have a much better job!
It took me years and years of buying the must-have product of the moment, but I’ve finally learned my lesson, and I only buy now if I’m confident I’ll love the product. I know what I like, and I’m always drawn to the same tones, colours and finishes when it comes to makeup. When Matt and I go shopping I would always rather spend more time looking at beauty products than clothes as I really don’t buy many clothes, but I’ve cut back on purchasing beauty products so much! I very rarely pick things up on a whim now, and try to do a lot of research before I buy from reading blogs, watching YouTube videos and reading website reviews. I use so many products on a regular basis, but I thought it would be fun to choose seven truly loved products that I couldn’t imagine getting ready (or unready) without! I’m sure they’re all very familiar to you, but that’s how you know I really love them, right?
Morroccanoil Treatment Light I am obsessed with using oils on my hair (and face and body!) but this one is my absolute number one. I recently changed to the light treatment instead of the regular and it truly is a miracle worker on my hair. I apply a teeny tiny amount to wet hair after I wash it, and then I work a small amount through the ends of my hair on the in-between days before styling. It smells incredible and I’d really love to try more products from the Morroccanoil range, I know so many salons – including mine – recommend their products!
MAC Turquatic Rollerball As I wrote about in this post, this perfume lives in my bag and comes in so handy for travelling and typical day-to-day life! I switch up my perfumes depending on the day or where we’re going (although of course Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede and Lancome La Vie East Belle are my ultimate luxury favourites!) but this I reach for every single day. I use it to top up whichever perfume I applied that morning at least once per day, and the smell makes me so. dang. happy. Matt loves this perfume on me which is so cute, it’s such a feel good scent and although I think it’s marketed for Summer due to the citrus notes I wear it all year round.
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve shared this product on my blog, but when you really love something you want to share it with others, right?! No matter what lipstick or lip gloss I’m wearing, I always apply this first, which is probably why I go through them so quickly. I first purchased this product around four or five years ago, when it became *the* beauty product on YouTube and I’ve not looked back since; I’ve tried so many ‘dupes’ and nothing works as well as this. The formula is so creamy but it applies easily and lasts for such a long time, and it is a perfect base for any peach, pink or nude lip product, which is pretty much all I wear!
L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Hand Cream I have one of these hand creams in my bag at all times, and one in my nightstand drawer because I just need to have it on hand at all times. ON HAND, lol. Get it? I definitely do use multiple hand creams – The Body Shop and Sanctuary Spa also make great ones that are a little less expensive – but this is just a luxurious product I love so much. First of all, it smells amazing and the smell lingers around on your hands for so long, but the formula is not sticky or tacky and sinks in right away. I use hand cream religiously during the colder months because if I didn’t my hands would be ridiculously dry, but I’m getting better at using it when it’s not cold too. I’m really trying so hard to use hand cream after every time I wash my hands, because since I stopped getting gel manicures my hands need all the love they can get!
The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter The. Best. Cleanser. Ever. Hands down. I use all of the products in my skincare routine every day, but I just had to include his gem! I’ve used this for such a long time, and although I use other products in rotation, over the past few months this is really all I’ve reached for. I truly look forward to taking my makeup off with this cleanser every single night because it’s so relaxing and makes my skin feel great. It’s lightly fragranced but smells amazing, almost spa-like, and it’s a very relaxing way to begin my evening skincare routine. I apply this directly onto my face to break down makeup, then add a little water to create a milky consistency that breaks down any extra makeup a little more. I remove with a muslin cloth or flannel, and depending how much makeup I’ve worn that day/night I sometimes repeat, although I very rarely need to.
Carmex Watermelon Lip Balm Lip balm is a beauty obsession for me, it’s one product I truly can’t have enough of and boy do I love trying out new ones. To be fair, Matt steals my lip balm all the time, and even when he doesn’t he wears it by default from how much I kiss him, haha. I use so many lip balms, but I really love Carmex and I reach for several throughout the day, depending on where I am as I have them stashed everywhere! I picked this watermelon scented lip balm up a few weeks ago and I really love the scent of it, it’s just perfect for the Summer months.
Thank you so much for reading! Could you have guessed some of these products? Do you use anything I mentioned in this post? What are your tried and tested must-have products you use every day?
Hi, loves! Happy Friday! I’m SO happy it’s almost the weekend, this has been the longest week for me. I can’t wait to spend time relaxing and having fun with Matt and our friends! Also, I am so very sorry there was no new post on Wednesday, it was definitely not intentional. Whilst editing, my draft somehow corrupted within WordPress, and I lost the whole post. I was already not too happy with the photos I’d took to go with the post, so decided to cut my losses and instead of rushing like crazy before and after work to re-write it, I’m going to be posting that next Wednesday. I really try to stick so hard to my schedule but I don’t ever want to put up a post that is not to my usual standard, I hope you understand! Grab a cuppa and get ready for a rambly, chatty, much-too-long #feelinitfriday instead…
What I’m loving: I’m so impressed with the NYX Professional Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette, I can’t recommend it enough! I’ve been a fan of NYX’s lip products for years but I’d not really tried many other products from them. Earlier last month my ABH Brow Wiz ran out – I felt like I was buying a new one every few weeks – and at nearly £20 each that adds up so quickly! One of my co-workers recommended this eyebrow pencil and said how much she loved it, and I can totally see why! I’ve used it every day for almost six weeks now and it’s still got loads of product left, with the added bonus of being half of the price to what I was previously paying. If you’re looking for a new eyebrow pencil, give the NYX one a try, it lasts all day and applies so well!
What I’m reading: Well, I’m not technically reading anything! I started reading One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid on the last day of our holiday and I’ve barely picked it up since we got back. It’s been a typical life got in the way situation, but I so badly want to make time for reading. I’m usually really good at prioritising time to read no matter what I have to do that day but it feels like life has been on fast forward since we came home! I’d love to write a post about why and how I make time to read (normally…) if that’s something you’d be interested in? Also, I can’t recommend any book by Taylor Jenkins Reid enough, I’m working my way through all of her books and I LOVE her!
What I’m freaking out about: I received the most incredible PR email this week, to be sent some products by one of my most favourite brands! Any guesses which one?! I received the email at the end of my working day and rang Matt on the way home to tell him and literally cried happy tears. I also texted Jessy (well, I called her too but she didn’t answer her phone, I swear we are in a never ending cycle of meaning to ring each other back and/or see each other, LOL #adultfriendships) and she was SO excited for me too! When I started my blog I had no idea what would come of it, but I work so freaking hard and being sent PR packages seriously is beyond what I could have dreamed of. It’s just surreal! I’m so grateful to the PR agency, and to everyone who reads my blog which makes things like this happen! I’ll definitely be sharing on my Instagram stories when it arrives, and you know you’ll see the products featured in upcoming posts.
What I’m excited about: My new hair! I got my hair cut and dyed last night at my favourite salon – Rein & Co in North Shields – and I am so beyond happy with the results, it’s so ashy and natural looking! After being so undecided on what to do with my colour all week I decided to darken my hair a little, but still keep blonde tones through it. I am SO happy every time Erin does my hair, it’s always exactly what I want and always looks way better than whatever photos I show her. My hair had gone so much lighter on holiday from being in the sun all day every day, but I really didn’t like the brassy tones that were inevitably coming through. I’ve already booked my next hair appointment and I’m excited for it, it’s one beauty treat I’m always going to allow myself! (Remember back in this post when I was visiting the salon for the first time? My hair is so pretty now, I can’t believe the difference!) I also really can’t wait to watch Toy Story 4 tonight! Matt and I love date night at the movies… if you know us you’ll know we’re all about the popcorn and tango ice blasts!
What I’m asking you guys to do: You may have noticed a few teeny little changes around the design of my blog, there’s a few things I’d like to do to improve so I’m just doing it little by little. I included a little subscription box over on the right hand side of the page* where you can put your email address in if you’d like to be notified each time a new post goes live. Over 700 people (guys, my mind is literally BLOWN at this number) have already signed up to be notified, however if you haven’t and enjoy reading my blog, I would be so grateful if you signed up too! You will receive an email with a link to confirm your subscription, and then you’ll be good to go! *If you read on a mobile, you’ll find the box at the bottom of the page, right under this post (or any other).
What I’m wondering: If we’re going have any good weather up North… Since Matt and I got home from our holiday the weather has been absolutely pants; warm, humid and a little sticky, but barely sunny. Although, I did LOVE the crazy rain we experienced yesterday, it’s so therapeutic being indoors during a rainstorm! My favourite kind of weather is those beautiful sunny Autumn days where it’s a little cold and crisp so you need a coat, but before I wish away Summer I really do want to experience real Summer weather. Matt and I have so many fun things we want to do this season, and I hope the weather starts to get better soon!
What I’m buying: New underwear! I had a huge clear out last week of all of my underwear and socks, and I really need to pick up some new pairs of underwear, and a few new bras. I’m obsessed with this bralette for cosy days (I wish I could wear it under my work uniform but the material of the tops we have to wear is not very forgiving LOL) and really want to pick up a few more similar styles/colours. They have no metal wiring so are super comfy, and I spotted they have some pretty lacy ones in the same style. Matt and I are going shopping this weekend so I’m definitely going to see what I can find, and I’m also hoping to pop into Victoria’s Secret! Apart from matching underwear sets, all I really own are these style of underwear which are so comfy and cute. (Except SO many of the styles have hidden glitter patterns on which drives me crazy haha, they look so tacky!)
What I’ve been up to this week: Matt and I have been at work all week, although he’s off today and I’m VERY jealous! Leaving him snuggled up in bed is the worst, it makes getting up and ready so hard haha. We’ve spent our mornings relaxing before work, and our evenings watching Netflix, cooking and spending a little quality time with Matt’s parents! They go on holiday tomorrow and we’re going to miss them so much, but of course we’re so excited for them to relax and have a good time, they deserve that so much.
What I’m up to this weekend: I’m so excited for a fun weekend because last weekend was all about work for both of us! Tonight, Matt and I are having date night at the movies, we can’t wait to finally watch Toy Story 4 🙂 tomorrow we’re up early to drop Matt’s car off for a service then heading for date day in the city, which is one of our favourite ways to spend a Saturday. I’m also going to be taking photos for a very fun post whilst we’re there, have you any ideas what it is? Hint: it’s something I’ve never done before! We’re spending Saturday night at Matt’s friends house enjoying drinks and having a BBQ which will be so fun. On Sunday Matt is playing golf with the boys for a few hours and I’ve got lots to do on the blog so I’ll take a few hours to get ahead, then we really want to head to the beach if the weather is good in the afternoon. Once Matt has gone to golf I’ll also prepare a CrockPot meal for dinner, that’s one of our favourite tricks on Sundays as it cooks throughout the day and is minimal clean up so we can spend our evening relaxing!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you all had a great week and are looking forward to a fun and relaxing weekend. I have a question… what’s your current favourite makeup product(s)? I really want to treat myself to a few new items over the next few weeks! I’m seriously hating on lots of the products I’m using right now and really want to update my make up bag, especially my foundation and powder! Hope you have a great weekend! Our travel diary from Croatia will finally be up on Sunday, I can’t wait to share the photos with you!
Hi, loves! I really really love pinks, peaches and corals, they’re just the perfect Summer colours to me! These are the shades that make my heart happy, you know when you’re just drawn to specific tones? I’m really desperate to buy a peach coral lipstick but I’m just not sure I could pull it off. Does anyone have any recommendations of shades I should look at?! My obsession with pinks and coral toned peaches are a little crazy… Matt and I were shopping in Homesense a few weeks ago and he had to prise me away from a cushion that I wanted so badly because it was the exact same shade as the Essie nail polish I’m talking about in this post, ha! Also, this wasn’t meant to be an I love Charlotte Tilbury post, but it kind of turned out that way…
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat / Pillow Talk Lipstick This is my go-to date night lip combination, and a duo I reach for over and over again! Both of these products pretty much live in my bag, and I never get bored of them. I’m not the biggest fan of matte lipstick normally, but this formula is incredible and I really want to pick up another shade! The lip liner is the perfect base for the lipstick, and the formula is creamy, soft and long lasting, without feeling dry or irritating on your lips. I’ve repurchased the lip liner so many times, and I know when I run out of the lipstick I’ll be heading into town to grab another right away!
Loreal Glow Mon Amour Highlighting Drops in Champagne I briefly mentioned this in a #feelinitfriday post before I went on holiday, but I’m even more obsessed with it now. Other than foundation and concealer, I’m a powder kinda gal when it comes to my makeup, but highlighter has always been an exception. I think liquid highlighters are so beautiful and shimmery, and just look so much more fresh on your skin! This highlight is the most gorgeous shimmery, peachy colour, and it literally gives your skin a lit-from-within glow, which is what we’re all aspiring for, right?! I also mixed a little of this with my favourite body lotion when Matt and I were going out out and it looked so nice!
Charlotte Tilbury The Duchess Lipstick This was a beautiful gift from my lovely boyfriend for Valentine’s Day this year, and I reach for it so often, I just love it! I actually wore it for every single night of our holiday this year and I got compliments on it, I’m always shocked when anyone other than Matt or our mums takes notice of what I’m wearing haha. It’s described as a tea rose which I think suits it perfectly; it is a little dark when I’m super fair, but when I have a little bit of a tan (which I do post holiday!) it looks more rosy and bright. The formula is iconic; it’s creamy, easy to wear and lasts for so long on the lips, even when eating and drinking. In the beautiful rose gold packaging Charlotte Tilbury is known for it feels and looks so luxurious, I always feel so happy applying it!
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek To Chic Blush in First Love I just really love Charlotte Tilbury products, what can I say? Since I picked this blush up just before Christmas I’ve used it pretty much every day, I just can’t choose another product over it! The colour is a subtle peachy pink, but can be easily built up for a more in-depth colour depending on the look you’re going for. It’s completely matte, which I really love becuase I like to be able to incorporate glitter with my eyeshadow, and add shimmer from my highlighting drops!
Essie Cute As A Button Nail Polish I only ever really paint my toes as I was getting gels for a long time on my fingers, but after a few bad experiences with chipping/peeling (which never use to happen) I got them took off just before my holiday and I’m trying to give my nails a little rest. I wore this colour throughout my whole holiday on my toes, and loved it so much I repainted when we got back. And whilst we were there, because the sun literally melted off my nail polish. The shade is just so dang pretty, it’s my perfect peachy coral shade for Summer as it’s bright and loud, but doesn’t look neon as I’m not a huge fan of that. I already know I’m going to be wearing it for the rest of Summer! Essie’s formula is just always good, and with a little top coat it doesn’t chip at all.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post and got a little inspiration to pick up some peachy pink goodness! Have you tried any of the products featured in this post? What are your favourite pink and peach toned products? Do you have any recommendations of things I should try out?
Hi, loves! Happy, happy Friday!! I can’t quite tell you how excited I am to be back writing again, I missed you guys! Today’s post is another kinda short and sweet one, but they’re still fun, right? Matt and I had the most amazing holiday and I’m so dang excited to share everything with you on the blog next week. If you weren’t following along on Instagram stories, go check out my Croatia highlight saved on my profile for a sneak peak of our trip and what we got up to! We came back feeling so happy and grateful, although we’ve never been so sad to come home from a trip EVER. The holiday blues are real guys! So, what’s going on in my life?!
What I’ve been eating: After eating a week of incredible quality all-inclusive food, with hundreds of options, we’ve actually really enjoyed cooking since we got back. We’ve opted for our tried and tested favourites of pasta dishes, fish with roasted veggies and lots of comfort foods 🙂 we made enchiladas last night and they were so. dang. good. I chipped the back of my front tooth on holiday (you can’t tell at all but I had a bit of a meltdown when it happened because it felt like a HUGE part of my tooth came out. Thankfully that wasn’t the case at all but this would only happen to me, it’s just my luck!) and I’ve been so scared to eat anything that I have to bite into. I’m even more scared for a trip to the dentist to fix it – it’s beyond a JOKE as a 25 year old woman how scared I am of the dentist! – but I’m being super careful about the food I’m eating so I don’t have to bite into things!
What I’m blown away about: Whilst we were in Croatia I got tagged in two Summer Bucket List posts – this one by Gemma, then this one by Laura – who were inspired to write them after reading my post. I mean, what the heck?! I read and loved them both, please go spread a little love and give them a read (and follow!) too. I love that this little blogging community is always so welcoming and open to others, and that we really support each other and want the best for each other. Sharing each other’s blog posts, leaving comments, liking posts etc is so important and something I’m truly trying to actively do more. I am really focused on growing my blog more and creating fun, exciting content, and I feel so lucky to have inspired other bloggers in some small way!
What I’m reminiscing about: Croatia!! Guys, we’re SO sad to be home. We had the most amazing holiday and I can’t quite believe it’s already been and gone, the week flew by! We stayed in the most beautiful hotel, with amazing sea and mountain views that looked like they were straight out of a TUI advert, it was beyond what we expected or even imagined. Our days were spent swimming, relaxing for hours at the beach or pool and soaking up the (crazy hot!) Croatian sun, which is just exactly what we needed. Spending pretty much every second of every day with my favorite person was so good for the soul! We recharged and relaxed, and even though I had a bit of a wobble with my anxiety for one day of our holiday – that was less than ideal! – I’m still in a little bubble of happiness from our trip. I really am so excited to share our photos with you! Here’s a sneak peek…
What I’ve been up to this week: We spent Monday in holiday bliss, and traveled back to England on Monday night. We had booked a hotel in Manchester for that night because we knew we’d be exhausted, and I’m so glad we already planned that because for a short haul flight our travel day was LONG. We had a two hour coach ride on the hottest, sweatiest bus you can imagine with no air con from our hotel to the airport, then waited three and a half hours at the worst airport we’ve ever been to before finally flying home! The pilot kindly told told us as we sat on the runway that the BACK ENGINE WASN’T WORKING. Anyone who knows me IRL will know this made me freak. out. hahahaha. It was fine, but I mean, who tells a plane full of people they’re about to fly through the air with one of the engines not working?! I held onto Matt for dear life pretty much the whole flight. We grabbed Diet Cokes and Doritos from the airport and snuggled in for a midnight feast at our hotel, which was so needed! Tuesday rolled around way too quickly, so we headed back up North and spent our day catching up with our families, relaxing and preparing to go back to work. From Wednesday we’ve just been getting back into the swing of work, and we’re already counting down to next weekend when Matt is off work and we have fun things planned!
What I’m up to this weekend: Not very much! Matt is unfortunately working all weekend, and I have a ton of stuff to catch up on with my blog so I’m going to be working too. I’m so thankful we make the most of our mornings and evenings together every day, because you just have to be grateful for the time you can squeeze in when life is busy. We hate when he works all weekend, and I miss him so much! Lol, he’s literally only going to be out of the house for just over eight hours each day, but that’s a long time, y’know? I’m excited to write and edit new posts and take photos, and I’m also going to be working on our Croatia photo diary which is going to take up a LOT of time. I also really want to deep clean our bedroom, it needs it! We are however making plans this weekend, which always makes me so excited! We’re booking our tickets to see Toy Story 4 (we can’t wait!), planning a date day and date night and we’re also booking our hotel for a super fun trip next month 🙂 I know we’ve literally just got home but I can’t wait for a few nights away! I love making memories with Matt, and we love having things to look forward to. My personality is that I kinda need something to look forward to, it makes crappy days so much easier to deal with!
What I’m thinking about: How fun all of the 4th of July celebrations looked! I’ve seen countless Instagram stories showcasing BBQ’s, fireworks and parades, and I’d LOVE to experience being in the USA for the holiday one year! Of course the reason Americans celebrate is because it was the 4th of July, 1776 that they became independent from us, Great Britain. Lol, I see the irony! Still, I love any kind of holiday that involves fireworks, now I’m just counting down to Bonfire Night… I’m actually VERY excited for Autumn, although I realise Summer literally just started. I’m already dreaming of cosy sweaters, riding boots and pumpkin spiced everything!
Thank you so much for reading guys, I’m sorry this week’s #feelinitfriday is so short! I wrote this post up before work as Matt and I were up from 6am this morning because he started work early, and I had SO much fun sitting down and pouring all of my thoughts into a blog post. I’m so happy I started my #feelinitfriday series, and I’m pretty sure they will be more of a weekly thing than every two weeks. Please let me know what you’d like to see in these posts, as I really want to make sure it’s content you enjoy and feel excited to read! Matt and I have tons of fun plans coming up and although we’re very sad our holiday is over, we can’t wait for all of the exciting things we’re going to be doing. We’re going to start checking off our Summer bucket list from next weekend, I just can’t wait! What are your plans for this weekend? I hope you’re not working like us, and have so much fun!
Happy Wednesday, loves! Today’s post is super short and sweet, but I think it’s filled to the brim with positive reminders, quotes and affirmations we all need to surround ourselves with a little more. I talked in my last post about how important it is to appreciate the little things each day that make you happy, and I don’t know about you but I love reading quotes. I feel positive, inspired and just a lot happier from so many; they really can change your perspective or mindset a lot. I love the pretty designs, writing, photographs and patterns that you see floating around online, and today I wanted to share a bunch of my favourite ones with you! Also, I’m pretty sure Matt is sick of hearing “babe, look at this one! Isn’t that so true?!” HAHA.
*All quotes were taken from Pinterest, credit to all illustrators and originators of the quote!
… I really love this quote, it’s one of my favourites and something I refer back to a lot. In the past I have picked myself apart over anything and everything that I thought was ‘wrong’ with me and it’s so hard to be happy when you do that. It becomes all consuming, and it’s really sad to get yourself down over silly things. I know now it’s just not worth it, and I guarantee half of the things I thought (or maybe still think) are ‘bad’ or ‘wrong’ about me, are things that nobody else notices or cares about anyway. I’m working really hard to try to overcome negative thoughts about myself, especially my appearance, and this quote just really resonates with that 🙂
I hope this made you smile, and maybe gave you a few new quotes to inspire you! Why not share them with your friends, partners, family or co-workers, and spread a little happiness 🙂 do you often look at quotes? Which one is your favourite? I’d love to know!
